2018 Fall Fly Fishing Challenge

Prizes and Categories:

OPEN DIVISION (Entry Fee $50)
Guides, licensed captains, and any tournament participants sharing their vessels; Previous 1st Place winners of the Fly Angler Division; or any other fly angler may enter this division. Prizes are awarded on a total inches by category basis. Each angler is limited to one prize. Any size snook, redfish, or sea trout are eligible (No minimum or maximum size limits apply due to the all-release format). 

Grand Champion wins an Orvis Recon Rod valued at $450.
Highest Point Total – Largest redfish, snook, and sea trout (2 species will qualify in the event that 3 species are not entered or 1 species will qualify in the event that 2 species are not entered)

1st Place wins $100 Gift Certificate
Redfish – Total inches
1st Place wins $100 Gift Certificate
Spotted Seatrout – Total inches
1st Place wins $100 Gift Certificate

FLY ANGLER DIVISION (Entry Fee $50)
Open to all anglers except guides, licensed captains, and tournament participants Sharing their vessels.  Also, previous 1st Place winners of this division are excluded.
1st Place Total Inches wins an Orvis Recon Rod valued at $450. 
2nd Place Total inches wins $150 Gift Certificate 
3rd Place Total inches wins $100 Gift Certificate

4th Place Total inches wins $75 Gift Certificate

Prize are awarded by total points, using a points per inch formula for the following species: 
Redfish – 5 Points Flounder – 2 Points
Permit – 5 Points Seatrout – 1 Point
Snook – 3 Points Ladyfish – 1 Point
Pompano – 3 Points Jack Crevalle – 1 Point
Snapper – 2 Points Bluefish – 1 Point
Any size fish from this list are eligible (No minimum or maximum size limits apply due to the all-release format)
Team DIVISION (Entry Fee $100)
A team consists of a maximum of two anglers with no more than two occupants per vessel. Team anglers must fish out of a motorized craft. Prizes are awarded on a basis of total inches calculated from the measurements of the largest snook, redfish, and sea trout submitted by each team. Any size snook, redfish, or sea trout are eligible (No minimum or maximum size limits apply due to the all-release format).
Each team is limited to one prize.The award for Team Division Grand Champion goes to the largest totalinches of redfish, snook, and sea trout submitted (2 species will qualify in the event that 3 species are not entered or 1 species will qualify in the event that 2 species are not entered). 

Grand Champion wins 25% of the total of all entry fees collected for the team division, plus (2) TFO Axiom II 8wt rods and TFO Power reels
2nd Place wins 15%
3rd Place wins 10%

All ties in any division will be determined by the angler check in times. The angler who checks in first will be declared the winner of any ties. Anglers are only eligible to win one prize category.
